The SynOptics Technical Source CD has a keyword-based search program to help you find documents quickly and easily. To take advantage of the search function, click the Search button at the bottom of the summary screen to display the Search dialog box.
Select a keyword from the Keyword list and click Add. The word you selected appears in the box to the right. Click the Find button to locate all the documents that pertain to the keyword you selected. A new screen is displayed that lists document names related to your selected keyword. Click any of the document names to view a summary of the document, then click VIEW at the bottom of the Summary screen to view the actual document.
To narrow your search, use the And function available in the Search window. For example, to search for a Reference Sheet on the Model 3800, select Model 3800 from the keyword list, click the Add button, and the word appears in the box to the right. Then click the And button and select the word Reference Sheet from the keyword list and click the Add button. The word Reference Sheet appears in the box to the right. Click the Find button to locate all documents that relate to the words Model 3800 and Reference Sheet.
